What shall we use to fill the empty spaces
Where the waves of hunger roar?
Shall we set out across this sea of faces
In search of more and more applause?
Shall we buy a new guitar?
Shall we drive a more powerful car?

Indianapolis F1

Anybody hear what happend this Sunday? Only 3 teams running two cars each ran the event — those shod with Bridgestone tires. The teams using Michelin weren’t allowed to run due to underperforming tires. 9/10 teams agreed to allowing them to run without the possibility of amassing any points, but Ferrari and FIA disagreed, leaving six cars to race and M. Schumacher takes a hollow victory. Everybody’s mad and no one takes responsibility.

And the fans are the one who ultimately suffer for it. :(

PATRIOT Act comes up for renewal

with more liberty denying revisions thrown in. I hope our elected leaders aren’t stupid enough to approve of it. There’s also something called the SAFE act floating around that would add checks and balances to the PATRIOT but not repeal it in any way. It’s being supported by a wide variety of bipartisan groups including the NRA and ACLU.

As I see it, until something more serious happens, we’ll just continue to be immersed in our own lives and slowly let our liberties erode away.
