- take them fishing
- teach them about self-respect and self-confidence
- teach them that there’s a lot to learn
- take them to catch fireflies
- teach ‘em about the opposite sex
- change their diapers
- invest in their futures
- show up at their sports games and cheer them on
- give ‘em rides on my shoulders and back
- teach them how to appreciate the simple joys in life, like watching the sun set, or enjoying a cold beer
- teach ‘em how cars and tv’s and refrigerators work
- let them inherit my tool collection
- let them inherit my cast iron pots and pans
- give ‘em lots of hugs
