Damn you Tiem. You achieved both my goals…lol. I didn’t even accomplish one of them.
By class:
Last place! (or 5th :-p)
Normalized results:
57 out of 81.
I’m really wishing the timer didn’t mess up for my last run and we used that time instead. The rerun was not worth it — tires hot, hand still shaking…ah. next time….at least I feel I’m improving.

More thanks to Will and John for coming over to help me out last night. I’ll get you guys the Sake I promised.
Notes:
- Hex bolts are drastically easier to remove than Phillip’s head screws for rotor holding
- PB Blaster is great stuff for loosening frozen rotors and bolts
- A breaker bar combined with a dead blow hammer makes for a great “manual” air impact wrench
- Remember to look through repair manual so you can get necessary hardware instead of finding ways to not remove a part so you can avoid reusing a fastener
It was a very straight forward job with only one rotor that gave me a really hard time. I ended up using a finishing hammer on it. Hope the wheel bearing is still ok.
There was lots and lots of brake fade(?)/soft pedal feel when I was breaking it in on 190. 10 stops from 60 to 5mph makes for great stink in car — just like the ITR pad break in.
