Cho Chang’s situation similar to Pearl Harbor the movie
Not harry’s fault he has scar and tie to Voldemort
Would have been nice to go to Hogwarts with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
School is fun because of the ups and downs: Asking out people, having parties, a structured schedule, etc.
Questions: (has spoilers)
* What the heck has Dumbledore been doing since his departure from Hogwarts and why did he show up so late?
* Why wasn’t Umbridge charged with ordering the release of the dementors at Harry earlier in the book?

Notables:
- BMW Ultimate Drive. Driving:
- 330ci Coupe auto
- 330i Performance Package - lovely suede steering wheel, shifter. Adjustable thigh bolsters. Great exhaust. Insignificant extra 10HP. Great exhaust. Illaudable rev retardation — slow to drop revs: stupid emissions-friendly ECU. Even my 30# dual mass flywheel drops revs faster.
- 325ci Conv. for 50 mile trip to Classic BMW - much body flex due to roof chop.
- SCCA Autocross
- Very slick lot. slow car. need more power. need LSD.
- Need to stop hitting last slalom cone.
- Still very amusing.
- Looking forward to Saturday with more tractable surface.
- Seat time is seat time right?

New Intel Dothan chips were officially announced yesterday. IBM is already introducing the new T42 notebooks. Larger 15″ displays and Radeon 9600 graphics chipset w/ more mem. (They still have 14″ displays though.)
Intel is now introducing a new modeling scheme since they recently cancelled their Netburst (Pentium 4) development. The new Dothan (Pentium M’s successor if you haven’t guessed by now) has 2MB of L2 cache and will be called the Pentium M 735 (1.7GHz), 745 (1.8GHz), and 755 (2.0GHz). All built on their new 90nm process.
So lots of processor lovin for the mobile crowd. I believe by 2006 Intel will have all their processors based on the the Pentium M core (which is based on the venerable P6 architecture — of Pentium, Pentium II, Pentium III, Celeron, Celeron II _Pentium Pro_ fame).
Preliminary review at Tom’s Hardware.
And an Intel datasheet.
